PromptMinutes is an audio recording, transcription , and document preparation app. In this privacy policy, we tell you what information we need from users in order to accomplish these tasks.
Scope of this Privacy Policy
SALING CLUB (“SALING CLUB,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our application, websites, and related services (collectively, the “SALING CLUB Platform ”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from SALING CLUB users (“Users”). Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of SALING CLUB is also subject to our Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide to Us
PromptMinutes is a user-friendly app that allows you to easily record audio to create transcripts of your conversations, meetings, or personal notes. To ensure a seamless recording experience, the app requires permission to access your device's built-in microphone. We want to assure you that your privacy is our utmost priority. The app will solely use the microphone during the explicitly chosen recording duration and for the sole purpose of capturing audio. Rest assured that your microphone will not be accessed at any other time, and the app will not utilize it for any other purpose. We value your trust and are committed to providing you with a secure and reliable recording experience.
Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, when you contact our Customer Support Team, we will receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of a message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide.
B. Information We Collect When You Use the SALING CLUB Platform
We use your device UUID (a unique vendor string that Apple make available to app vendors) to uniquely identify your device for metering purposes.
We also store usage data - such as the total minutes of audio you have recorded. This number is kept securely in your keychain such that it is retained even if you delete and reinstall the app. This protects the vendor against unauthorized use of the app beyond the allowance.
We do not store or save audio you record , other than on device. These audio files, transcripts, and summaries are available only to you , on your device. While we keep a record of subscriptions and usage , please be aware we are unable to recover your audio recordings, transcript or summary, should you remove and reinstall the app.
We request you to login to your own Google Account to be able to use Google BARD AI LLM. PromptMinutes does not store any login information nor does it have access to those credentials. Use of Google BARD is strictly your choice and not a pre-requisite for the app. The app however requires that you as user bring your own OpenAI API KEY to be able to transcribe and summarize once your API Credit runs out.
Your Choices
You are not required to give PromptMinutes the app permission to use your device microphone. If you elect to do so, then we’re sorry you will not be able to enjoy the full benefit and functionality the app provides.
Other
Data Security. We are committed to protecting the data of the SALING CLUB community. Even though we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no security measures can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your data.
Children’s Privacy. SALING CLUB is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we find out that a child under 13 has given us personal information, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe that a child under the age of 13 has given us personal information, please contact us at support@saling.club
Changes to Our Privacy Policy. We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will let you know through the SALING CLUB Platform, by email, or other communication. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy periodically to stay up-to-date about our privacy practices. As long as you use the SALING CLUB Platform, you are agreeing to this Privacy Policy and any updates we make to it.
